Brief characteristics of the company

The team at Omexom Renewable Offshore Energies GmbH (OREO) became a pioneer in the offshore wind industry with the planning of the first offshore wind farm in Germany, "alpha ventus". With the realization of this project, we set milestones: never before had a wind farm been built so far from the coast (64 km to the mainland) and in such a water depth (32 m).
We were able to fully incorporate the experience gained during this pilot project into our second major task, the complete project development of the Riffgat offshore wind farm. For a timely, cost-efficient and qualitatively convincing conclusion of this project, we were rewarded with the “German Renewables Award” in 2014.
Since then, we have looked after more than half a dozen wind farms on the high seas and are constantly developing our strengths in the main areas of management services, monitoring services, engineering services as well as inspection and maintenance.
